“The food here is excellent, and they are very accommodating with dietary needs such as gluten-free, dairy-free, and even offer a keto menu. Unfortunately, the service was a letdown. The staff members were doing their best, and I don’t fault them—they were simply following policy. It was very busy, so everything took longer than expected. What disappointed me most was being charged $10 USD for two pots of hot water due to a policy against bringing in outside tea. I explained that I would happily buy tea from their menu if they carried the one I brought, and that it wasn’t about saving money, I had an upset stomach. I would have even been fine paying a reasonable fee for hot water, but $5 per pot feels excessive. While they did mention the outside-tea policy, they never told me additional water refills would incur extra charges. I completely understand that small businesses need to make money, and I wasn’t trying to avoid paying. I also don’t write negative reviews lightly. Still, the way the situation was handled was very disappointing. If you’re looking for great food, this place absolutely delivers. But don’t expect the best service from management. 10/10 for the food, 1/10 for the unexpected hot-water charge and poor communication.”

“This place is beautiful, staff was friendly and they have a great selection of food. As someone who likes to eat gluten-free, I searched for this place to enjoy eggs Benedict. Eggs were fantastic but the cauliflower fritter came out of kitchen raw. When I asked whether this was meant to be a) cold and b) raw, the waitress sent it back. She brought it back as I was finishing my meal, and it was still raw. Needless to say, I did not eat it but they still charged me for it! The fact that you can have a lovely meal pretty much anywhere for a fraction of the cost, this breakfast was a huge disappointment for me.”
