Privacy Policy

What we collect

You can browse Senza without an account. If you sign in, we collect and store the following on our servers so your account works across your devices:

• Your email address and name, provided through Sign in with Apple when you first sign in.
• Your saved places, so your bookmarks are there when you come back.
• Your home city, if you choose to add one to your profile.
• City requests you submit, including the city, country, and any note you add, so we can plan where Senza covers next.

We do not collect your location. The map shows restaurant locations only, and the app never asks for or tracks where you are.

Sign in with Apple

We use Sign in with Apple, so you never create a password with us. Apple lets you share your real email or a private relay address that forwards to you, and you can choose to hide your name. We only receive what you agree to share, and your name is provided once, at your first sign-in.

How we use your information

We use your information only to sign you in, keep your saved places and profile, and respond to city requests. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not send marketing emails.

What stays on your device

Some things never leave your device, including your recent searches and whether you have finished the intro screens. These are removed if you delete the app.

Restaurant listings and photos

Restaurant details, reviews, and photos come from third-party sources, mainly Google. Photos are loaded through our own server rather than directly from Google, so your device is not exposed to Google when a photo loads.

What we do not do

We do not track you across other apps or websites, we use no advertising or analytics tracking, and we do not build a profile of you for advertising. Senza's privacy manifest declares no tracking.

Who we work with

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to run Senza:

• Apple, for Sign in with Apple.
• Supabase, for authentication and database hosting.
• Vercel, for website hosting, loading restaurant photos, and account deletion.
• Google, for the restaurant listings, reviews, and photos shown in the app.

We do not share your personal information with anyone else.

Your rights and choices

You can edit your name and home city, or delete your account, at any time from the Profile screen in the app. Deleting your account permanently removes your email, name, saved places, and profile from our servers. If you are in the UK or EU, you have rights under data protection law, including access, correction, and erasure. Email us at hello@hannahfox.co to exercise them.

Data retention

We keep your information only for as long as your account exists. Once you delete your account, it is removed.

Children

Senza is not intended for children under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Please check back from time to time.
