This policy explains what personal information Senza collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Senza is a gluten-free restaurant discovery tool operated by Hannah Fox. If you have any questions, email us at hello@hannahfox.co.
What we collect
The only personal information we hold on our servers is your email address, and only if you choose to sign in. We use magic links, so a one-time sign-in link is sent to your email and you never create a password. Your email is stored by our authentication provider so you can sign in and manage your account.
What stays on your device
Your saved restaurants and account preferences (your display name, distance units, and notification setting) are stored in your browser, not on our servers. They live in local storage under the keys senza-saved-places and senza-account-prefs, stay on your device, and are removed if you clear your browser data.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
How we use your information
We use your email only to sign you in and let you use your account. We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing emails. The notification setting in your account is a placeholder for a future feature and does not send anything yet.
Who we work with
We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to run Senza:
- Supabase, for authentication and database hosting.
- Vercel, for website hosting.
- Google, for the restaurant listings, reviews, and photos shown in the app. Restaurant photos are served directly by Google.
We do not share your personal information with anyone else.
Your rights and choices
You can edit your details or delete your account at any time from the Account page. Deleting your account permanently removes your email and sign-in record from our authentication provider. If you are in the UK or EU, you have rights under data protection law, including access, correction, and erasure. Email us at hello@hannahfox.co to exercise them.
Data retention
We keep your email only for as long as your account exists. Once you delete your account, it is removed.
Children
Senza is not intended for children under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Please check back from time to time.
